Is Pushpa 3 being considered by makers? Why is Vijay Deverakonda's name doing rounds?

Allu Arjun’s much-anticipated action drama, ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’, has hit the theatres, leaving fans thrilled. Early reactions praise Sukumar’s direction, calling the film “a narrative packed with unexpected twists and turns.”  

Adding to the excitement, fans have even more reason to celebrate as it has been officially confirmed that the ‘Pushpa’ franchise is set to expand with a third installment.

In a picture shared by Manobala Vijayabalan, we could see sound designer Resul Pookutty and the rest of the crew standing in front of a screen with the third film’s title- Pushpa 3: The Rampage. The caption read, "#Pushpa3 CONFIRMED."

While the cast of the third film remains under wraps, speculation is rife that Vijay Deverakonda might join as the antagonist, fuelled by an old post from the actor. 

In the old post, the Arjun Reddy actor wished director Sukumar on his birthday while stating that he couldn’t wait to start to shoot the film with him and had mentioned the suffixes of the Pushpa franchise films.

Meanwhile, ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ has already smashed records, becoming the fastest film to sell 1 million advance tickets on BookMyShow, highlighting its immense fan following.  

The sequel brings back Allu Arjun as Pushpa Raj, the daring red sanders smuggler, alongside Rashmika Mandanna as his wife Srivalli. Fahadh Faasil, Rao Ramesh, Sunil, Ajay Ghosh, Dhananjaya, and Jagadeesh Prathap Bhandari reprise their roles from the first film.
