Shahid Kapoor is currently basking in the success of his debut OTT show Farzi, in which he essays the role of an artist who decides to print counterfeit notes, leading him to get trapped in the crime world.

In a recent interview with an entertainment portal, the Haider actor opened up about Farzi, the second season of the show and also addressed the million-dollar question if there will be a cross-over between ‘The Family Man’ and ‘Farzi’ which the fans have been speculating ever since Farzi released.

Shaid revealed that Farzi, doing so well, has made him ‘really really happy’ after the Jersey debacle.

In an interview with Pink Villa when Shahid was asked about if he had discussed the possibility of Farzi 2 with director duo Raj and DK, he said that even they (Raj & DK) may have not discussed it yet. However, he believes that the director duo with their superb team would come up with something really exciting and that he is waiting to hear from them.

And when he was questioned about the million dollar question if there will be a cross-over between ‘The Family Man’ and ‘Farzi’, as both have many things in common like a few vital characters, details, plot points and settings, Shahid candidly said please ask this directly to Raj and DK.

"It's their universe. Everything is possible but it is all about what is right. (One) shouldn't do something just for the heck of it. So, it has to blend in, in a manner that's natural and something that can take the journey forward," he added.

On the work front, Shahid will next be seen in Ali Abbas Zafar’s ‘Bloody Daddy’. He is also shooting for a romantic comedy with Kriti Sanon produced by Dinesh Vijan.
