The anticipation for this movie has been quite high after Vijay’s last release Master became a massive hit early this year. Now several interesting facts regarding this movie are coming out which has further skyrocketed the interest of the movie watchers in Beast.

Team of Beast Recreating Indo-Pak Border in Georgia

According to the latest buzz, the makers of Beast are planning to recreate the Indo-Pak border set in Georgia. Reportedly, the movie will include many army-based sequences and high octane fights as Thalapathy Vijay is playing the role of an Army officer in this movie.

Story Revolves Around Terrorists Who Capture a Mall

The story of Beast revolves around terrorism. A group of terrorists will take a mall in their control and hold the general public and the staff inside the mall as hostages. Vijay as the army officer will be given the task to rescue everyone safely out of the mall and tackle the threat of the terrorists.

Beast is the First Indian Movie to Be shot with Red-V Raptor

Red-V Raptor is the latest camera nowadays used by leading directors abroad for better picture quality. Beast will be the first Indian movie that will be shot using Red V-Raptor. With its full-frame lenses, the cinematographic result is expected to be sheer magic.

Ghajini-fame Murugadoss Was Dropped as Director Midway

When the discussions for Beast started, Murguadoss was confirmed to be on the board as director. However, the budget was tight as the film was delayed due to a pandemic. Even Thalapathy Vijay who was earlier promised Rs 100 crore as remuneration decided to cut down his fees by 30%. The makers requested Murguadoss to cut down his fees as his last movie Darbar starring Rajinikanth did not do well at the box office. But the Ghajini-fame director refused and hence was replaced by Nelson Dilipkumar.

Pooja Hegde reportedly is taking Rs 3.5 crore as fees for Beast which is one of the highest amounts offered to any of the Southern actresses to date.

Beast was scheduled to release on Pongal in 2022. But due to production delays, the movie will now release in April 2022.
