Shraddha Kapoor turns a year older today. Currently, she is busy promoting her upcoming movie Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar with Ranbir Kapoor. Over a span of more than a decade, the actress has seen lots of ups and downs and controversies.

Shraddha had  a crush on Tiger Shroff and Varun Dhawan

Shraddha studied in the same school as Tiger Shroff, Varun Dhawan, and Athiya Shetty and had a crush on both Varun and Tiger who later on worked together in many movies. However, the first real crush of the beautiful star was Hrithik Roshan but she is yet to get a chance to work with him.

The rankings and success ratio shows that Bollywood actresses like Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif, and Alia Bhatt are big actresses today. However, when it comes to popularity on social media, Shraddha is far ahead of them. She is the third most followed Indian celeb on Instagram after Virat Kohli and Priyanka Chopra Jonas.

Milestone decisions that changed her career

Shraddha Kapoor was studying psychology at Boston University in her freshman year when she decided to quit studying and start her career in movies. And it proved to be a life-changing decision for her. Incidentally, years earlier when Shraddya was 16 years old, Salman Khan had offered her the movie Lucky: No Time for Love after watching her play a part in her school play. However, at that time she wanted to pursue a career in psychology and rejected the offer.

She was also offered Aurangzeb featuring Arjun Kapoor by YRF but Shraddha Kapoor rejected this offer in favour of Mohit Suri's Aashiqui 2 which launched her in a big way. On the other hand, Aurangzeb was a big flop.

Shraddha's love for food and adventure

The daughter of Shakti Kapoor loves adventure and is a certified scuba driver. She has a big fondness for Japanese cuisine and Sushi is her all-time favourite food whereas she drinks at least 2 cups of tea every day. Her favourite romantic movie is Guru Dutt's Pyaasa. She is also a trained classical singer and has sung songs in movies.
