Indian Idol 12 is slowly heading towards the finals and now all eyes of the viewers are on who will win the show. Each contestant has a huge following and the elimination of any of these top contestants are going to trigger discussions and slamming on social media.
However, is winning such reality shows help to take your career ahead? While the past record shows that it is not the winners but losers of musical reality shows like Indian Idol, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, and The Voice have made bigger careers.
Neha Kakkar, who has been a regular on the panel of judges of Indian Idol for the last few years, was a contestant in Indian Idol 2 and even reached the top 10, but could not win the title. But she is today far ahead of any other Indian Idol winner.
