Auditions for Indian Idol 13 have already started and the music reality show is receiving tremendous response from young singers. Interestingly, singers who have already participated in or even won junior singing reality shows are also once coming forward to get a place on Indian Idol 2022 because the platform is quite huge and can really turn a game changer for their careers.
One such ex-contestant who is also the winner of Indian Idol Junior 2-Ananya Sritam Nanda auditioned before Himesh Reshammiya, Vishal Dadlani, and Neha Kakkar yesterday and impressed the judges with her fabulous rendition of A.R. Rehman’s “Hai Rama Yeh Kya Hua” from Rangeela movie. When she made her entry, Ananya said that she is a big fan of Arijit Singh and somehow wants her voice to reach the superstar Indian singer.
Vishal Dadlani offered to record her audition and share it with the Kesariya Tera Ishq Hai Piya singer so that her dream comes true. Another past contestant of Indian Idol Junior (2013)-Sonakshi Kar also returned to the reality show and mesmerized the judges with her sweet rendition of a Lata Mangeshkar classic;“ Rahe Na Rahe Hum” from the film Mamta.
Sonakshi is a die-hard Lataji fan similar to Arunita Kanjilal the first runner-up of Indian Idol 12. All the contestants of last season including winner Pawandeep Rajan, Sayli Kamble, Arunita, and Danish Mohammad became very famous and also got an opportunity to perform worldwide in the US, Canada, and Europe.
While last year the response for Indian Idol 12 was a bit low due to COVID-19, this year thousands of young singers from all parts of India have come forward to check out their destiny on Indian Idol 13.
