This year’s session of Indian Idol has been one of the most controversial ones. Despite all the odds, some of the contestants did well and managed to win the hearts while there are a few who were trolled and slammed on social media for disturbing original compositions or simply for not singing well.
Power play in the Indian Idol 12 has now come to an end and elimination started last week. Anjali Gaikwad was the first to be eliminated and her exit shocked many music lovers who believed that instead of Anjali it should have been Shanmukha Priya who should have been eliminated.
# Indianidol 12 . Don't know the finer details of rules , but elimination of Anjali looks to be biased . She is much better singer with knowledge of Music ,as compared to Shanmukha Priya who has shown no range but the koo noise all along .

Now the top 8 on Indian Idol 12 include, Pawandeep Rajan, Sawai Bhatt, Ashish Kulkarni, Danish Mohammed, Nihaal Tauro, Arunita Kanjilal, Shanmukha Priya and Sayli Kamble.
Out of these eight, Danish and SNP have been receiving a lot of criticism. Last week, Shanmukha was one of the two contestants along with Anjali in the bottom two.
Organisers please stop this Danish and shanmukhpriya shouting in all the songs.. It is irritating, and unbearable. They kill essence of the song and make mockery of it... Especially Danish shouts in every songs. Thats not singing.#IndianIdol2021

So there is a very low probability that Shanmukha or even Danish will reach the top 3 of this year’s Indian Idol. While Ashish Kulkarni, Sayli Kamble and Nihaal have been singing quite well, these contestants have also received very low votes earlier and stand a chance of getting eliminated before the finals.

Both Ashish and Sayli have emerged as the topmost singers on the show but since the votes of the people decide whether they win the show or not, it is most unlikely that they will reach the finals.
On the other hand, Sawai Bhatt and Pawandeep Rajan have regularly been getting the topmost votes consistently since the start of this season.
Both Pawandeep and Sawai are good singers- while the former has already won a reality show, the latter comes from a poor family of puppeteers but has won hearts with his typical traditional Rajasthani-style singing.
Another contestant who is almost sure to reach the finals of Indian Idol 12 is Arunita Kanjilal. She has given consistent performance all through the season and has impressed even big names like Lata Mangeshkar with her mellifluous renditions.
So, the tussle for the title this time is sure to be between Pawandeep, Sawai and Arunita.
