Now with OTT becoming a regular entertainment platform across the world, more Bollywood stars and Indian hotties are rocking the Hollywood stage and even making it big there.

In 2021, apart from established Hollywood and Bollywood stars like Priyanka Chopra Jonas, many more B-town actors grabbed attention globally.

Kubbra Sait—Foundation

Foundation - the science fiction from Apple TV starring Jared Harris and Lee Pace was also appreciated for stunning performance from Kubbra Sait as Phara who played the main antagonist on the show.

During her conversation with a leading portal, the actress revealed that she has been waiting for a breakthrough moment in her career and was lucky to get a part in one of the biggest shows in the history of television across the world.

Adarsh Gourav - The White Tiger

Very few people have noticed the earlier works of Adarsh Gourav in movies like Mom and My Name is Khan and a web series Hostel Daze. But his rocking performance as Ramin Bahrani in The White Tiger has been much discussed even though it was led by big names like Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Rajkummar Rao.

This role also helped Gourav get a nomination as the Best Actor in a lead role at the BAFTA.

Huma Qureshi - Army of the Dead

The zombie heist movie led by Zack Snyder was the much-awaited release of 2021. Apart from the stellar star cast of Matthias Schweighofer, Elia Purnell and Dave Bautista, it was our very own Huma Qureshi who played the pivotal character of Geeta in the movie and won the hearts of fans across the globe. Even director Snyder was hugely pleased with Huma’s performance and during an interaction with the media said that she is amazing.

Pravesh Rana – Foundation, Serpent

Apart from Kubbra Sait who impressed in Foundation, it was Pravesh Rana, another Indian face who gave a stunning performance as Rowan in the second season of this series.

The Bigg Boss fame actor who previously hosted Emotional Atyachar also did a small role in Netflix’s Serpent, a series based on the life of smuggler Charles Sobhraj.

Nitu Chandra Srivastava - Never Back Down: Revolt

She has been in the industry for more than 15 years and has worked in many regional movies as well. But Nitu got her due in 2021 when she made her debut in Hollywood with Never Back Down: Revolt in which she played the character of Jaya which has been written keeping her in mind.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Purab Kohli-The Matrix Resurrections

Bollywood’s desi girl has been criticized for her small role in The Matrix Resurrections. But undoubtedly, it is her biggest movie in Hollywood to date and as usual, PeeCee made justice to her part as Sati.

Another Indian actor who was a part of this latest movie from the hit franchise was Purab Kohli who played the character of a game developer with aplomb. Purab has already made an impact earlier in the Western world with his acting in Sense8.

Harish Patel in The Eternals

Veteran Bollywood actor Harish Patel made a noticeable appearance with his cameo in Salma Hayek, Angelina Jolie, and Kit Harrington-led The Eternals. He played the character of Karun in the Marvel movie that is an assistant to Kumail Nanjiani’s Kingo.
