India's Got Latent
India’s Got Latent is a quirky show from standup comedian Samay Raina who is known for adding an entertaining twist to the game of chess. As the name suggests India’s Got Latent is a parody of the Indian reality show India’s Got Talent. The episodes are released on the YouTube channel of Samay Raina and although the entire presentation seems quite unconventional and surprises the viewers, it is the signature style for which Raina is known.
From Poonam Pandey to Rakhi Sawant , and Siddhant Chaturvedi many guests have appeared on this show. Recently a woman comedian appeared on India’s Got Latent who told how being a mother of a young one is depressive and even roasted Deepika Padukone for her depression comment that the Bollywood superstar made a few years ago.
During her act, the woman said, “I am a mother and I have a two-year-old. And that is exactly the time I have not slept. Waise Deepika Padukone also became a mother recently right? Great! Now she really knows what depression really looks like.” The moment she said this the judges on the panel including Tanmay Bhatt, Raghu Ram, Balraj Singh Ghai, and neurologist Dr Sid Warrier could not believe what they were hearing and started laughing.

Even the audience went into an uproar hinting that the participant had made one of the biggest jokes and that Deepika Padukone’s depression revelation was fake. She added, “I am not trying to insult Breakupwala Depression. I’m.” Once again the judges and the audience started clapping and laughing.
However, a few web users did not find this entertaining and said that no one should make such comments on the mental health of another. Furthermore, Deepika Padukone faced depression at the top of her career and she never said that it was because of any breakup. While the audience present at the show enjoyed what was being said, most of the web users found it downright insulting mental health of women in general.
