Hrithik Roshan went the extra mile to look older than Tiger Shroff in War!
Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan is gearing up for the release of War 2. Fans are extremely excited to witness Duggu's on-screen clash with Tollywood superstar Jr NTR. Recently, it was officially announced that the makers are set to unveil the first look of Hrithik and Taraka's first look from War 2 on the latter's birthday on May 20. Fans certainly can't wait to get a glimpse of the superstar duo in the flick, which is a sequel to 2019's War, also starring Tiger Shroff. But, did you know that Hrithik Roshan went the extra mile to look older than Tiger in the movie?
In YRF's Spy Universe and War franchise, Hrithik Roshan plays the role of Major Kabir Dhaliwal, a former RAW agent. Kabir was once considered India's best agent but he went rogue. Fans witnessed his epic on-screen clash and dance faceoff with Tiger Shroff, who played the role of Khalid Rahmani. Notably, Kabir mentored Khalid in the past and was the colleague of Khalid's father.
Based on the storyline and character dynamics, Kabir is an experienced and seasoned agent and older than Khalid.
To look older than Tiger's Khalid, Hrithik did an interesting thing.
He coloured some portions of his hair white and also added freckles to his face to justify his age in comparison to Tiger's character.
Helmed by Ayan Mukerji, War 2 is scheduled to hit the theaters on August 14, 2025. While Hrithik is reprising his role of Kabir Dhaliwal, the sequel brings in Jr NTR as the new antagonist. Fans certainly can't wait to see the iconic duo setting the screens ablaze with their powerful performances.
Notably, after Hrithik's announcement of dropping the first glimpse of War 2 on May 20, Jr NTR expressed his excitement and responded, "Thank you in advance @iHrithik sir!!! Can’t wait to hunt you down to give you a special return gift Kabir…” (sic)
Undeniably, War 2 with Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR in action, will be a visual treat for fans.
