Hrithik Roshan unfollows Jr NTR after War 2 'disaster'!

Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan and Telugu icon Jr NTR came together for the much-anticipated spy thriller War 2. While the film created massive buzz with its grand opening, its sharp decline at the box office has triggered not only industry debates but also social media rumours. 

Speculation is now rife that Hrithik has unfollowed Jr NTR on Instagram, fuelling gossip about a rift between the two stars, though no confirmation has surfaced from either side.

Online chatter intensified after Kamal Rashid Khan (KRK) tweeted that Hrithik “unfollowed Junior NTR” on Instagram because War 2 underperformed. He wrote, “In Bollywood, friendship depends on success. Since #War2 is a disaster, Hrithik Roshan doesn’t want to be friends with Jr NTR.”

However, a fact-check by Filmibeat cast serious doubts on the claim, reporters found no evidence that Hrithik ever followed Jr NTR on Instagram. This renders the supposed “unfollow” more hearsay than fact.

Indeed, War 2 had a spectacular opening earning over Rs 180 crore in India within five days even hitting around Rs 183 crore by Day 5.Yet, it experienced a sharp drop in collections on Monday.

Meanwhile, rival release Coolie, starring Rajinikanth, surged ahead with steady earnings, crossing Rs 200 crore and outpacing War 2.

Neither Hrithik nor Jr NTR have addressed the speculation. Hrithik continues to follow director Ayan Mukerji, co-star Kiara Advani, and other colleagues while his father remains connected with NTR, suggesting no evident rift.

The claim that Hrithik Roshan unfollowed Jr NTR appears unfounded and lacks substantiation. With no confirmation from the actors themselves, fans are advised to treat the rumour as just that a rumour.
