Hrithik Roshan to start shooting for ‘War 2’ from February 2024, Jr NTR to join from March

The Yash Raj Films (YRF) Spy Universe is attracting Indian action movie lovers to the theatres with its mega franchises like Salman Khan’s  Ek Tha Tiger, Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Pathaan, and Hrithik Roshan’s War. These movies are believed to have taken the action genre of Indian cinema to a whole new level. 

As fans are eagerly waiting to see more of the Spy Verse installments, a piece of exciting news regarding ‘War 2’ has come to the fore.

According to a Pinkvilla report, Hrithik will start shooting for War 2 in February next year and Jr NTR will join him in March-April. 

South star Jr NTR, who is rumoured to play the antagonist in War 2, is currently busy shooting for his movie Devara, where he will be sharing the screen with Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor. 

Jr NTR is giving all his efforts and time to Devara, so that he can wrap up the shoot on time and then join the spy universe. 

War 2 is scheduled to hit the theaters on the occasion of Independence Day in 2025. Along with Hrithik and Jr NTR, Kiara Advani will also be seen in the movie in a key role. The movie will be helmed by Ayan Mukerji.

It is to be noted that the first part of War was released in 2019 in which Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff were seen in high-octane action and it was directed by Siddharth Anand.
