Hrithik Roshan is all set to make his debut as a director with Krrish 4. The movie will be produced by Rakesh Roshan and YRF’s Aditya Chopra in collaboration. News about Krrish 4 being in the making but struggling due to budget issues have been around for some time. Now finally it seems the budget issues have been sorted and fans would get to see their favourite super character live on the big screen after a long gap.
The news was announced by Rakesh Roshan on his official Instagram account. In his post the Kaamchor director fondly penned, “Duggu 25yrs back I launched you as an actor, and today again after 25 years you are being launched as a director by two filmmakers Aditya Chopra & myself to take forward our most ambitious film #Krrish4. Wish you all the success in this new avatar with good wishes and blessings!”
Hrithik Roshan will have a tough task ahead as he is not only directing the movie but is also leading it as the male lead. When the last movie from the Krrish franchise was released in 2013, more than a decade ago both social media and VFX was not so advanced.
Over the years so many big movies like Baahubali, RRR, Brahmastra, and many more have brought alive cinematic drama impactully on the big screen using latest technology like VFX and CGI. So it is not going to be an easy ride for Hrithik Roshan but it is worth appreciating that a big Bollywood superstar of his level is ready to take the risk.
One plus point is that Krrish 4 is having the backing of YRF which has delivered some big hits in recent times like War and Pathaan and have a team to deliver a high-action, mind blowing cinematic experience. Hrithik Roshan fans are keeping their fingers crossed in the hope that their favourite Duggu delivers a blockbuster performance both as the director and the actor.
