Priyanka Chopra Jonas is all set to return to the Indian film industry with Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu’s next. Since SS Rajamouli has established a humungous success track record with Baahubali and RRR, the expectations are high. And knowing PeeCee she will never settle for a flower pot role in the film. So it is going to be quite interesting to watch Priyanka Chopra Jonas being directed by one of the all-time best directors in India.

And yes indeed it is going to be one of the most remarkable comeback for the Bollywood superstar who was forced to leave Mumbai at the peak of her career just because she fell out of favour of some big time A-listed Bolly celebs.

Renouncing Bollywood and shifting to Hollywood

Things went kaput when her rumoured nearness to Shah Rukh Khan irked the gang of Gauri Khan and Karan Johar who made sure that PeeCee is dropped from major Bollywood projects and stops getting good offers. Not the one to bow her head to such camping, she shifted her base to Hollywood.

From Quantico, and Baywatch to Citadel

Priyanka Chopra Jonas hopped from studio to studio in Hollywood with her audition tape despite being a big star in Bollywood. She had the required money to lead a good life but it was her ambition that took her across the borders. Efforts paid and she was launched with Quantico, a television series on ABC.

Since then she has not looked back. From Baywatch to Citadel and many other projects Priyanka has ensured that she continued to get work in Hollywood. Unfortunately the Western film industry failed to explore and utilise her full talent giving roles that do not justify her talent. She is rumoured to be charging 30 crores for her latest with Rajamouli and that is the first time any Indian actress has earned for a movie. So it is a tight slap to those who a decade ago used all their tactics and forces to throw Priyanka Chopra Jonas outside the film industry. Next she will be seen in Heads of State releasing on Amazon Prime.
