OTT platforms are flooded with many new series and films of varied genres and languages to watch in the first week of February. From the Indian adaptation of Netflix Spanish series Elite to Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, this week has many interesting titles.

Here is a list of series and movies to choose from Netflix, Sony LIV, and other platforms that you can enjoy this week:

Class

Netflix’s new series Class is an Indian adaptation of the popular Spanish series Elite. The plot of the upcoming drama explores the fitting in of 3 middle-class students who make it into an upmarket school populated by kids coming from rich families. How the lifestyle followed by them, clashes with theirs is intriguing but unlike the films mentioned, the show seems to address the darkness in a less glamorized fashion addressing some real issues students face.

True Spirit

The film tells the true inspiring story of Australian teenager Jessica Watson, who at the age of 16, became the youngest person to sail around the world, solo and unassisted. Over the course of 210 days, she braves dangerous conditions at sea and bouts of loneliness but perseveres through it all.

YOU Season 4

You Season 4 will pick up after the events of Season 3, which saw Joe fleeing his life in California for an escape to Europe, where he wants to distance himself from his "messy" past, adopt a new identity, and, of course, pursue true love.

Jehanabad: Of Love & War

Jehanabad: Of Love & War is based on real-life incidents. The story revolves around incidents that took place in Jehanabad, a small village in Bihar. It tells the story about a college professor who falls in love with one of his students. While they plan to get married, their plan is derailed by a Naxalite jailbreak. The thriller web series stars Ritwik Bhowmik, Parambrata Chatterjee, and Harshita Gaur in key roles.

Harlem season 2

The makers of Harlem are all set to roll out the second season of the comedy-drama series which follows the lives of four girlfriends in the city of Harlem in the US. The plot of the much-awaited series will focus on Camille (Meagan Good), who needs to figure out a way to fix her career and love life while Tye (Jerrie Johnson), Quinn (Grace Byers) and Angie (Shoniqua Shandai) face new challenges in their lives.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever

After a successful run at box-office, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is now streaming on Disney+Hotstar. A sequel to 2018's blockbuster Black Panther, the Ryan Coogler-directorial is also a tribute to late actor Chadwick Boseman, who played the titular character in the original. Boseman died of colon cancer in 2020. The sequel follows Queen Ramonda, Shuri, Dora Milaje, M’Baku and the people of Wakanda unite to fight against a powerful enemy while mourning the death of King T’Challa.
