  • Hombale Films today announced that it has joined hands with the IPL franchise RCB.
  • The two Bangalore-based companies will collaborate on sports, entertainment, and lifestyle.

Hombale Films and RCB have joined hands to usher in a new era of entertainment, unique content, and sports together. The announcement was made by Hombale Films on its social media account earlier today in which the production house said that it is proud and ecstatic with this new association with RCB and is looking forward to exploring the infinite possibilities that this collaboration can bring.

Royal Challenge Bangalore (RCB) is an IPL franchise from Bangalore and hence is a hot favourite among locals in Kannada. Hombale Films also majorly produces and promotes films made in Kannada although the production house also bankrolls movie projects made in other regional languages.

Interestingly, in its announcement Hombale Films has said that they would not only promote sports and movies but this association will also include multi-format content, lifestyles, and a lot more.

It also means that the association may soon venture into OTT platforms and explore other possibilities of entertainment. Currently, the IPL season is at its peak in India, and Hombale Films is also looking forward to the release of KGF 2, the sequel to its superhit franchise.

The timing of this association is just right so that the movie can be promoted in a huge way during all the RCB matches whereas the support and fan following for the cricket franchise can be increased by promoting RCB in theaters when KGF 2 is released. The promotional video shows snippets from KGF 2 with Adheera and Rockybhai and high-profile RCB players like Virat Kohli and ends with the caption, “Born in Bangalore to thrill the nation.”

Cricket and movies are two big things in India and now that RCB and Hombale Films have come together their culmination is sure to enhance the response that KGF 2 will get at the box office.
