Indian divas who will glam up 2022 Cannes red carpet

The 75th edition of the Cannes Film Festival, the world's most prestigious film gathering is all set to begin next week.

Many Indian films like Rocketry - The Nambi Effect and Godavari are scheduled to be screened at the event starting May 17.

While noted celebrities from all around the world will grace the glamorous film fest, Indian cine personalities will also have an impressive show at the gala event.

Many Bollywood bigwigs will walk the red carpet at the Cannes but everyone's attention will be focused on some divas from the B-town who are set to glam up the event.

This year, Deepika Padukone has made it to the 8-member jury list at the coveted film festival. She will walk the red carpet on all 10 days.

Apart from the Padmaavat actress, Hina Khan is also set to make a return to the red carpet.

Besides, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has also confirmed that a star-studded Indian delegation including actresses Pooja Hegde, Tamannaah Bhatia, and Nayanthara will also make the film festival a glam up affair.

Not only the Bollywood divas, but several other celebrities led by Union Minister Anurag Thakur and actors Akshay Kumar, AR Rahman, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Grammy award winner Ricky Kej are also set to attend the fest.

Notably, India has already been named as the official 'country of honour' at the Cannes Film Market.
