Hera Pheri 3 is one of the highly anticipated movies and fans are eagerly waiting to experience a rollercoaster ride with perfect comic timing of Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh Rawal. While fans are eagerly waiting to collect more updates about the beloved comedy franchise, the makers prefer to remain mum. However, Shyam aka Suniel seems to be quite excited about reuniting with Akki and Paresh in Hera Pheri 3.

Suniel, lovingly called Anna, drops major updates frequently. Recently, Suniel revealed a significant development regarding Hera Pheri 3. During an exclusive interview with News 18, the Mohra actor, who is all set to reprise his role of Shyam in the beloved franchise, confirmed that the project is on the verge of commencing production.

Here’s what Suniel said

In an engaging conversation with News 18, Suniel Shetty elaborated on the status of Hera Pheri 3. He was quoted as saying, "We've already filmed the promotional content. Now, we're eagerly awaiting the initiation of filming for the main feature. My hopes are high, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a smooth journey ahead. May we avoid any negative energies."

Indeed, such a statement reflects his optimism and enthusiasm for the project.

Further, shedding light on his collaboration with Akki and Paresh, Suniel expressed his friendship and fondness for them. Anna said, "Maintaining a strong bond with Akshay (Kumar) and Paresh (Rawal) ji has always been important to me. Paresh Ji and I share a deep connection. While Akki and I might not interact daily, our friendship is unwavering. He remains one of the most physically fit actors in Bollywood to this day. It's astonishing how 16 years have slipped unnoticed. The prospect of reuniting for Hera Pheri 3 is incredibly heart-warming."

Previous update

Earlier, Suniel had taken to social media to express his anticipation for the upcoming film. In his extensive post, he delved into the multifaceted nature of filmmaking, highlighting that it encompasses not only the artistic aspects but also the business dimension. He underscored the significance of decisions made throughout the filmmaking process and how they intertwine with creative contributions, portraying a holistic view of the industry.

On Linkedin, Suniel wrote, "So Hera Pheri 3 is finally happening! Look forward to being back on set with Pareshji and Akki (Akshay). Like all good things, this one took some time, but it’s a relief to finally have an answer to this question! Films are such a huge part of our culture, and yet, not many understand what goes into making a film. Apart from creative challenges, the business model and needs of the movie business make it as challenging as any other."

Further, his post read, "Many films also tie-up with brands for in-film placements or co-marketing activities, as an additional layer of revenue, or sometimes to offset part of the pre-release marketing expenses. There are so many other aspects that make the movie business challenging - audience preferences, data and insights, IP rights, and licenses, pre and post-production, line production, permissions, promotions, and pricing, etc etc. 33 years and 125 films later I don’t have it all figured out, but I will keep getting better at it."

As the excitement surrounding Hera Pheri 3 continues to build, fans of the franchise eagerly await the forthcoming collaboration between these seasoned actors. With the project set to move ahead and production poised to commence, the prospect of witnessing the on-screen magic of Suniel Shetty, Akshay Kumar, and Paresh Rawal reuniting in this iconic comedy franchise becomes increasingly obvious.

Meanwhile, Paresh had said that the film's iconic characters of Baburao, Shyam, and Raju will go global in the third film as they travel to Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Los Angeles, California. Hera Pheri 3 will be helmed by Farhad Samji.
