Until the release of KGF Chapter 1, Kannada actor Yash remained confined to the regional industry. With KGF 1, the popularity of the Rocking Star crossed boundaries making recognition as a pan-India Star. Currently, Yash is counted among the most sought-after actors of Indian cinema.

January 8 marks the birthday of Rocking Star Yash and the actor turned 36 today. Excited fans are celebrating the day with much hype. Different social media platforms are flooded with B’Day wishes for the Rocking Star. Not just the excited fans, but several biggies from the industry including actors, directors, producers and others have extended best wishes to Yash.

Ending all speculations, the makers have unveiled a new poster of Rocking Star Yash on his big day.

Hombale Films on its official Twitter handle shared the new poster from KGF Chapter 2 and Yash's ferocious monster look as promised on Friday.

Fans remained in an elated mood after KGF Chapter 1 clocked 3 years on December 21 last year. Several unseen pictures of the star are doing rounds on social media. Meanwhile, a picture of Yash believed to be of his childhood days is circulating. The picture shows young Yash getting rewarded while another picture shows the pride of Kannada Film Industry (KFI)'s Rocking Star holding a trophy.

Similarly, several other pictures of younger versions of Yash are being posted by his fans.

Indeed, it's a long and applauding journey for Yash who started his acting career from TV shows to grabbing the attention of movie lovers from overseas.

By now, fans are well aware of the past of Yash and his family background.

As reported earlier by Forbes India: Yash's intuition told him he would be a superstar one day, & he remained true to his childhood dream.

Yash, before being shortlisted for his first movie as the lead actor, had to go through a lot of struggles to achieve everything that he has today.

Even though he is a celebrated actor today, his modesty wins everyone's heart.

Fans must be remembering that KGF 1 released alongside Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan's Zero. While, Zero failed to impress the Hindi audience, response for KGF was high and it ruled the Box Office. However, when asked about his reaction on beating SRK at the box office, his reply won everyone's hearts.

Yash said that it won't be right to say that he has beaten anyone or the vice versa. And, this is not proper when it comes to SRK as he considers him as an inspiration.

As quoted by a national media agency, Yash said, "You should never say that because I can't beat anyone or none can beat me...It is all about what I do and this time, I feel we have done better work or maybe people are liking this kind of films so that doesn't mean that I become greater than somebody or somebody becomes less.”

"It is not nice to say that... Shah Rukh Khan is Shah Rukh Khan and he has done amazing job....has been entertaining us for many years," Yash was quoted as saying.

There are several other instances that define Yash and his modesty. Coming from a middle-class family, struggling from his younger days to get the first break and his passion and hard work to achieve stardom is all that defines his character.

We wish the Rocking Star Yash on his special day and hope he keeps entertaining all movie lovers with such iconic characters and movies.

KGF Chapter 2 scheduled to release on April 14 this year is just 95 days away and will expectedly embark benchmark and turn historic in the Indian cinema industry.
