Ranveer Allahbadia, Osama Bin Laden
One of the hottest topics on both the web and television today is Operation Sindoor. While the army and Prime Minister Narendra Modi are busy doing their jobs, the internet is now flooded with debates and podcasts with experts and even common people with not much knowledge sharing their views. However social media users were shocked when popular YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia was one of the participants in Piers Morgan debate and the topic was India – Pakistan war.
The debate included former Foreign Minister of Pakistan – Hina Khar, journalist Barkha Dutt, YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia, and Shehzad Ghias Shaikh from The Pakistan Experience. While the inclusion of Hina Khar, Barkha Dutt, or Shehzad did not surprise many, Indians were surprised that a leading platform like Piers Morgan Uncensored could invite Ranveer Allahbadia to present India’s stand when in reality a few months ago case was filed against him for making obscene remarks on Samay Raina’s show.
Many social media influencers asked whether Ranveer has now turned into a geopolitical expert and that inviting him to debate was diabolical. However, the Beer Biceps head surprised everyone by presenting the Indian side wisely giving an example of how Osama Bin Laden lived in proximity to Pakistan’s major military base for years proving the neighbouring country's hand in promoting terrorism for years.
Barkha Dutt who has always been dead against Narendra Modi and usually is considered a part of the leftist wing also surprised by supporting the Indian Prime Minister. Interestingly, it was Hina Khar who failed to answer questions directed at her promptly because the way her nation Pakistan has failed at all levels it certainly is difficult to defend such lies.
Most of the comments showed how Hina Khar simply ignored replying to tough questions the way celebrities overlook trollers. A few Indians also believed that Dr Shashi Tharoor could have been the best option to represent India on such a platform as he is a hardcore politician but with balanced views and quite eloquent.
