Happy Birthday, Shah Rukh Khan: Superstar who reclaimed his throne, created history, set new milestones!

Shah Rukh Khan celebrates his birthday today November 2. Despite reaching the ripe age of 58, the Badshah of Bollywood continues to reign supreme setting new milestones for his competitors and inspiring budding actors.

From Rajkummar Rao, Kartik Aaryan to Ayushmann Khurrana, all these actors are big fans of SRK and find him very inspirational.

But King Khan received a major setback 4 years ago when most of his big-budget movies like Fan, Zero, and Harry Meets Sejal tanked. Shah had never seen such failure since he entered Bollywood.

SRK took a break and decided to wait, watch, re-think, and chalk out a new plan for his career. And when he did come back after a hiatus of a couple of years, he bounced back with a bang, reclaimed his throne and today is the undisputed No. 1 in Bollywood.

Always wanted to become an action hero

Ardent SRK fans believe that he is the best romantic hero to grace the silver screen after Dev Anand, Shammi Kapoor, and Rishi Kapoor. While both his romantic pose and his gestures have won millions of young hearts, the superstar himself always wanted to become an action hero. Shah Rukh Khan believed that he could be a better action hero than a romantic one.

But during his younger days, he always ended up getting romantic roles although he did play some characters with negative shades like in Darr, Anjaam, and Don. His action stint in Ra.One did not get much appreciation.

Hence, it was announced that Shah Rukh Khan’s comeback movie Pathaan would be an action thriller, there were a lot of doubts in the minds of the people.

Aryan, Suhana wanted him to show his stardom to AbRam

Apart from proving his mettle, SRK also had one more reason to do an action movie. His children Aryan and Suhana Khan had seen his superstardom, but by the time AbRam started growing and understanding it a bit more, the DDLJ actor had lost his hold at the box office. Earlier, Shah Rukh had done Ra.One, a Sci-Fi movie for Aryan.

And then he signed action movies like Pathaan and Jawan for his son AbRam. Pathaan was such a huge hit both in India and overseas that it even surpassed Baahubali 2 on various parameters. His last release Jawan is also a super-duper hit and now all eyes are on Dunki which will hit the theaters this December.

The audience is expecting that SRK will set new milestones with this Rajkumar Hirani movie set to hit the theatres on December 22.
