The much-anticipated film, ‘HanuMan,’ has taken the box office by storm, surpassing the opening weekend collections of iconic movies like ‘KGF’ (first part) and ‘Kantara,’ and standing shoulder-to-shoulder with the blockbuster ‘Pushpa’ in its Hindi dubbed version.

The Hindi version of ‘HanuMan’ has carved its place as the first big hit of 2024, garnering an impressive total over its opening weekend.

The film's success story unfolds with remarkable figures, as it raked in a staggering ₹12.26 crores in its first three days. The daily breakdown showcases a promising trajectory: Friday saw collections of ₹2.15 crores, Saturday witnessed a significant surge with ₹4.05 crores, and Sunday capped off the weekend triumphantly with ₹6.06 crores. Notably, the Hindi version of ‘HanuMan’ is making waves across mass pockets, and its appeal has transcended national chains as well.

Confirming the same, film trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote on X on Monday, “Here’s the big surprise… #HanuMan first 3-day [opening weekend] total is higher than #KGF [first part] and #Kantara, at par with #Pushpa [note: all #Hindi dubbed versions]… Yes, you read it right! #HanuMan emerges first hit of 2024… Packs an impressive total in its opening weekend… While mass pockets continue to dominate, the national chains have also joined the party… Fri 2.15 cr, Sat 4.05 cr, Sun 6.06 cr. Total: ₹ 12.26 cr. #India biz. Note: #Hindi version.”
The success isn't confined to Hindi-speaking regions alone; the Telugu version of ‘HanuMan’ in North India has also made a commendable mark. Collecting ₹1.09 crores over the weekend, the film's regional appeal contributes significantly to its overall triumph.

With major releases on hiatus until ‘Fighter’ hits the screens on January 25, ‘HanuMan’ is poised to solidify its blockbuster status.

Directed by Prasanth Varma, "HanuMan" features a stellar cast including Teja Sajja, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Amritha Aiyer, and Vinay Rai. The film follows Teja Sajja’s character as an everyday.
