  • Neetu Kapoor's old interview surfaced just ahead of Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor's wedding.
  • Netizens have slammed the perspective of Neetuji as gross and cringy.

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor will finally tie the knot today and the speculations of the last few years will come to an end. The relationships of Alia Bhatt have been an open book for most of her fans without much controversy and scandals. However, Ranbir Kapoor was known as the ladies' man, a Casanova who could not be steady with one girl for more than a couple of months.

While not much is known about his fling with Sonam Kapoor that is said to have occurred during the making of his debut movie Saawariya, his high-profile affairs and breakups with Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif were shamelessly discussed in details in the media and made him quite infamous.

And, that is why when the buzz around Alia and Ranbir’s relationship triggered, many fans of the Raazi actress were quite skeptical about their relationship and as their wedding kept on getting postponed, her supporters feared that as usual Ranbir will ditch Alia Bhatt for another actress.

Apart from Ranbir’s previous history with girls, it is the perspective of his mother Neetu Kapoor that also seems to be quite supportive of her son’s behaviour. Recently, one such old interview of the Khel Khel Mein actress surfaced online in which she has said that she caught her husband Rishi Kapoor flirting hundreds of times and that she was the first to hear about them but just took them all casually as they were just one-night stands.

According to Neetuji, while she first fought a lot with him about these flings, after getting a bit mature she adopted an indifferent attitude and decided to see how long Rishi Kapoor will continue to go ahead with such flings.

The veteran actress also said that her husband always owned those flings and her way of reaction was to avoid each other for some time. What comes as a sharp alarm is her statement, “I feel men should be given a certain amount of freedom. They are flirtatious by nature. One cannot bind them down.”

Now, the netizens have related this interview with Ranbir Kapoor and said that God has saved Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone from the mess. Many have slammed it as cringey and gross and are wondering whether Alia Bhatt will also have to go through the same experience after marriage.
