The Shakun Batra-helmed flick had already created a lot of hype after the trailer was released showing some intimate scenes between Deeps and the Gully Boy actor. The movie is based on infidelity and is now receiving mixed reactions.

However, most of the social media users have slammed Gehraiyaan. While some called it a copy of Crime Patrol whereas a few believe that it is an over-hyped film. Critics have given good ratings and most probably Deeps also has an award waiting for Gehraiyaan. Even though the intimate scenes, adultery and kisses were the most talked about things in this Karan Johar-produced movie- the highlight many believe is the exceptional scenes between Deepika and Naseeruddin Shah who are sharing the screen space for the second time.
