Ganesh Acharya is one of the most famous Bollywood choreographers. He also occasionally choreographs songs for regional movies. He was one of the choreographers roped in to direct a few songs in Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna ’s Pushpa: The Rise and Pushpa: The Rule. His item number, O Antava, became a national rage.

Ganesh Acharya was surprised when Allu Arjun called him

For Masterji, choreographing songs that have become an overnight sensation is nothing new. But what was new for him was the way Allu Arjun respected him and opened his big heart to him. Narrating the generosity of Bunny, Ganesh Acharya during his recent podcast with Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa said, “Maine Pushpa ke gaane kiye toh dus, panch dinon ke baad Allu Arjun ne khup phone kiya muzhe. Kaha masterji aapke wajah se hua. Muzhe aaj tak kisi Bollywood ke kisi artist ne phone nahi kiya ki masterji aapne kya gana kiya. Allu Arjun ne kiya ki masterji aapne kamaal gana kiya hai.”

“Matlab mere ko aap ki wajah se log appreciate kar rahe hai. Woh toh chodo mere ko success party mein bulaya Hyderabad main. Maine socha kya ye success party mein log khayenge, daru piyenge lekin wahan pe bakayda koi success party mein ek stage lagaya tha aur maine dekha lightman, spot boy bade bade log baithe hain. Allu Arjun , Sukumar aur sab milke un lightman ko award de rahe hai,” he added.

For Ganesh Acharya, this was a first-of-its-kind experience, and he wondered if it could happen in Tollywood, and why it is not being done in Bollywood. He even said that he does not want to malign this industry because Bollywood is like God to him. However, he added, “Kuch logon ki wajah se yeh kharab ho raha hai. Isko saaf karneka dhyan dena chahiye.”
