From unique star cast to volatile sequences: Reasons to watch Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika's Animal

As the release date of Animal is coming closer the hype and promotions have also increased. A few days ago Ranbir Kapoor and Bobby Deol were spotted enjoying the trailer of their movie streaming on Burj Khalifa. From interviews to song releases the makers are going all the way to ensure that audiences throng to the theaters when this Sandeep Vanga Reddy-helmed movie releases on December 1.

And there are some interesting reasons for watching Animal apart from the fact that the director has given a big hit like Arjun Reddy previously.

Unpredictable yet convincing Ranbir Kapoor

Be it Barfi or Rockstar, Ranbir Kapoor has picked some amazing roles and has been unpredictable when choosing characters. Even when he started his career, he dared to do movies like Wake Up Sid, and the streak continued as he shot for both Shamshera and Shiva in Brahmastra almost during the same timeline. What’s more, he has been quite convincing in most of the roles. So watching Ranbir Kapoor in a volatile character playing a dark, scary yet devoted son will be quite interesting.

Fresh and unique star cast

Ranbir Kapoor has worked with almost all the leading ladies of Bollywood who are ruling the roost including Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, and so on. But pairing him with Rashmika Mandanna was a smart move. Already their kisses and scenes have created hype as the dynamics and chemistry between Rashoo and Ranbir are quite evident from the teasers and songs.

South and Bollywood stars

Importantly, what worked for Atlee and Shah Rukh Khan in Jawan will work for Ranbir here- the combination of South and Bollywood stars. Jawan got a good opening in the South because Nayanthara was the leading lady of the movie. Also, Atlee has a reputation for being a very good director down South and that indeed helped.

Ditto with Animal as Rashmika Mandanna has a huge fan following in the South whereas Sandeep Reddy Vanga has some good movies to his credit.

Bobby Deol is the surprise package

The Gupt actor made a huge comeback with Race 3 and the web series Ashram. He is a seasoned actor and as an antagonist is the biggest surprise package of Animal. It will be interesting to watch when Ranbir Kapoor fights against a seasoned and handsome actor like Bobby Deol. Just like Ranbir and Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol is also working with Ranbir Kapoor for the first time and hence magic is expected to sparkle on the big screen when these two fight out.

The romance, the action, the expressions, and everything in this movie seem to be at an intense level and much beyond the way common lives are lived. So despite the fact that Animal comes across as a volatile film, a few scenes are going to leave the audience shocked and at times bewildered. But that is the forte of Sanjay Vanga Reddy.
