Forbes 2024 30 Under 30: Animal puts Rashmika Mandanna among the most successful

Rashmika Mandanna starrer Animal was one of the biggest hits of last year. Although most of the credit went to director Sandeep Reddy Vanga and the lead actor Ranbir Kapoor, Rashoo also benefitted from its success as now she has such a big hit to her name.

And that has been instrumental in gaining her a spot in the Forbes 2024 30 Under 30 list. Forbes recently unleashed its annual list of under 30 “disrupters and trailblazers” and Rashmika Mandanna has successfully made it to the top 30 list. Apart from her, the Archies fame Dot and Radhika Madan have also made it to this list.

Surprisingly, none of the star kids like Sara Ali Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, and Ananya Panday have found a place in this list who are all below 30.

Rashmika Mandanna’s combined success in Bollywood and regional movies has helped her gain this spot. The 27-year-old actor who started her journey into the film industry with a Kannada film now has worked in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi cinema. She had three releases last year. The beautiful actress worked along with Thalapathy Vijay, in a Tamil flick titled Varisu which was a blockbuster and earned 300 crore worldwide.

Next, she featured with Sidharth Malhotra in a spy thriller titled Mission Majnu helmed by Shantanu Bagchi. The movie released on OTT was a decent success. But it was the crime drama from Vanga titled Animal that elevated her status as a superstar. The movie was released worldwide in Telugu, Hindi, and other languages and globally earned around 900 crore.

Rashmika Mandanna does not have any film background. Despite no links, it is very much creditable that she has been able to emerge so successful in a very short time. Next, she will be seen in Pushpa: The Rule, Chaava, Rainbow, and The Girlfriend.
