For Kangana Ranaut 'Bullywood' turns supporter, here's how things changed

It was Kangana Ranaut who was in full form slamming Bollywood as Bullywood after the shocking death of Sushant Singh Rajput. From criticizing the big names in B-town as druggies to alleging that nepotism rules in Bollywood and not talent, it was the Queen who gave interviews, and revealed incidences in her life to prove her point and allegations.

That was the reason why many Bollywood groups and families boycotted her and Jaya Bachchan even slammed her. So, the entire picture in 2019 and in the first half of 2021 was like Bollywood Vs Kangana Ranaut.

However, things have gone a big change in the last few months. There has been no doubt that the Tanu Weds Manu is a very good actress and has carried many films on her shoulders. But everyone knew it right from the time she won National Award for Fashion. So, why is Bollywood suddenly eager to welcome Kangana with open arms in its fold?

First Kareena Kapoor Khan wished her a happy birthday on her IG Story which is a rare thing as usually Bebo is known to do so only for her friends and people from her close circle. It was followed by Arpita Khan Sharma, the younger sister of Salman Khan inviting Kangana to the Eid party which was attended by almost everyone in the film industry including Kapoor’s and Kangana’s number one target-Karan Johar.

Kangana’s Dhaakad and Kiara Advani’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 are both are releasing on 20th May and for the first time, two A-listed actresses were found to be promoting each other’s movies. The video clip of the same went viral and triggered a lot of questions and discussions.

Next, Amitabh Bachchan promoted the trailer of Dhaakad on his social media account and later on deleted it. Everyone was surprised as to why Big B uploaded the trailer because Jaya Bachchan and Kangana had been at loggerheads almost a year ago over the drug allegations on Bollywood made by the latter.

In her comment, Kangana even questioned who is putting pressure on Amitabh Bachchan. And now Salman Khan has given good wishes to Dhaakad. More surprisingly, Kangana’s response to the Dabangg star’s wishes have surprised many making the Bollywood fans wonder whether Kangana and the other big Bollywood stars have signed a contract secretly to promote each other after the way the Hindi cinema is losing its audience to the Southern film industry.

The way things are going on currently, it won’t be surprising that if Dhaakad becomes a big hit, Karan Johar might mend his ways and offer Kangana a good role in a female-centric film under his banner. But certainly, things are quite unpredictable nowadays, when it comes to Bollywood.
