Rashmika's Choice of Roles
From an aspiring cricketer in Dear Comrade to a village belle in Puspha: The Rise, Rashmika has appeared in many commercial hit films. But, Rashoo is very particular about her roles and wants to portray a wide variety of roles onscreen and is always ready to take up challenges.
During a recent promotion of her Telugu movie ‘Aadavallu Meeku Johaarlu’, Rashmika was quoted saying, “I want to be known for playing a diverse range of roles. I am game for action-oriented films and I have no qualms to do a biopic or a historical film. In fact, I like to groove to special songs provided they have that really special appeal,” she said.
Rashmika's Openness About Her Relationship
Rashmika has been quite vocal about her love life. She was in a relationship with her Krik Part co-star Rakshit Shetty. They were engaged for a brief time however, later the couple called off their engagement. Later, the Pushpa star was linked to her Geetha Govindam co-star Vijay Deverakonda, however, Rashoo rubbished the rumours and said that she and Vijay are very good friends.
Rashmika's Venture Into Bollywood
After ruling South film industries, Rashmika has forayed into Bollywood with breakneck speed! She is one of the few stars who has already signed three Bollywood films, even before her official debut in the Hindi film industry.
While ‘Mission Manju’ opposite Siddharth Malhotra will be her first Hindi movie, she is also a part for Vikas Bahl’s next ‘Goodbye’ with Amitabh Bachchan.
Recently, she was also roped in crime thriller ‘Animal’ opposite Ranbir Kapoor, speaking volumes about her popularity and bankability as a star.
