Here we have compiled a list of mind-blowing shows which are inspired by real-life dramas and will keep you hooked throughout the season.

1. Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story 

This financial drama revolves around the real life of stockbroker Harshad Mehta, set in the '80s and '90s. This show takes you through the journey of a stockbroker who rose to unmatched heights before meeting his downfall. The lead role required Pratik Gandhi to gain 18 kgs in order to fit into Mehta’s character.

2. Delhi Crime - Season 1

You will be in awe of this cop thriller, based on the real incident of the Nirbhaya gang-rape case from 2012 that shocked the nation. This web series features Shefali Shah, Rasika Dugal and Adil Hussain in the lead roles. The series fetched Best Drama Series at the 48th Emmy Awards.

3. Jamtara – Sabka Number Ayega 

It is a crime drama based on real-life events surrounding phishing rackets that originated in Jamtara, Jharkhand. Starring Amit Sial, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, Aksha Pardasany and Sparsh Srivastav in lead roles, the show has two seasons streaming on Netflix.

5. Rangbaaz 

This nerve-wracking crime show features a fabulous cast and is a must-watch for sure. Season one tells the story of Indian gangster Shri Prakash Shukla while season two revolves around another most wanted criminal in the nation, Anandpal Singh.
