‘No one can replace the Queen’: Fans defend Rupali Ganguly amid Anupamaa exit rumours

Rupali Ganguly, the face of the hit TV show Anupamaa, has been a cornerstone of its success. However, her journey has not been without challenges, as she has faced controversies both personally and professionally. The year 2024 has been particularly tumultuous for the show, with major cast changes and allegations shaking its foundation.

After a significant leap in the storyline, new actors Shivam Khajuria and Alisha Parveen were introduced as the lead couple. 

Later, producer Rajan Shahi allegedly cited her unsatisfactory performance as the reason. Alisha was replaced by Adrija Roy, sparking backlash from fans who criticized the makers.

Adding to the drama, several former cast members, including Nidhi Shah, Paras Kalnawat, Sudhanshu Pandey, and Madalsa Sharma, hinted at conflicts with Rupali Ganguly, claiming their screen time was often reduced due to her. This fuelled speculation that Rupali might have influenced Alisha’s exit.

Amid the chaos, a viral video further stirred the pot, showing Bigg Boss 2 star Sambhavna Seth dressed as Anupamaa and addressing paparazzi.

Rumours swirled that Sambhavna was replacing Rupali, but it was later clarified that the video was unrelated to the show. Sambhavna is not joining Anupamaa.

However, after the video went viral, fans of the show started commenting in support of Rupali Ganguly and claimed that she is irreplaceable.
