Baseless rumours about celebrities often push their fans into a state of confusion and consequently a social media war. While some celebs come out in open and address such rumours, some choose to keep mum. And, Samantha Ruth Prabhu is one who never comes in the second category.

Recently, rumours of Samantha commenting to the dating reports of her ex-husband and actor Naga Chaitanya hit headlines. Sam was quoted as saying, "I am not bothered as to who is in a relationship with whom. Those who do not value love will be left in tears, regardless of how many people they date. At least that girl should be happy."

However, the above mentioned statements are not true as per Samantha. 'The Family Man 2' actress has rubbished the reports stating that she has never uttered these words.

In November 2022, a photo of Naga Chaitanya with Sobhita Dhulipala from a London vacation surfaced online fueling dating rumour. Recently, a picture of the duo enjoying a dinner date went viral on social media which ignited their dating rumours.

Fans of Samantha fumed over the fake news and extended support to the 'UTurn' actress. "Don't worry he its just to disappoint you there are many people like this so be brave and move on we fans always there to support," wrote a Twitterati.

"But they just felt that it would be a great news if you said something that way. As you were busy they took the liberty and mentioned it as you said. 😃 Cool Sam. Nuvvu ayte Shakuntalam lo performance adaragottav ga.? Migitavi mana vallu chuskuntaru. 🥳," wrote another fan.

"Just close your eyes and roar in the theatre by your performance... 💥💥," tweeted a fan while another wrote, "Unless the film industry boycott such pathetic fake news outlets, they wont change. Pls dont give any interviews/ allow them to attend ur movie press meets."

On the work front, Samantha will be next seen in Shaakuntalam which is set to hit the theatres on April 14. She also has the spy thriller series ‘Citadel’ with Varun Dhawan and ‘Kushi’ opposite Vijay Deverakonda in the pipeline.
