Earlier, the buzz was Vikram star Kamal Haasan is being paid a whopping Rs 150 crore to play the antagonist in Prabhas' yet-to-be titled Project K.

Directed by Nag Ashwin, Project K is a science-fiction film featuring a lot of puzzles, twists, and larger-than-life canvas exhibited with the help of cutting-edge VFX technology, and more.

It stars Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Amitabh Bachchan in pivotal roles.

Amitabh Bachchan also welcomed the Universal star on-board and wrote how it has been a long time since they shared the screen space. Earlier, the duo was seen together in 1985 drama film Geraftaar. Bachan had also a cameo in Haasan's directorial Hey Ram.

Made on a budget of Rs.500 crore, Project K will apparently be released in two parts- the first installment is expected to hit the theatres on the occasion of Makar Sankranti next year.
