Emraan Hashmi's music video 'Lut Gaye' has become the fastest Indian Song to hit 1 Billion views on YouTube.

Emraan took to Twitter to express his gratitude and thanked everyone for helping the song achieve this feat.



The romantic track written by Manoj Muntashir, composed by Tanishk Bagchi and sung by Jubin Nautiyal has become the fastest single to garner 1 Billion views on YouTube within eight months of its release! The song was released on February 18, 2021.

The song Lut Gaye's story is based on the real-life of Vijay Dandekar who is one of the most dreaded encounter specialists of Mumbai. 

Featuring Emraan Hashmi as Vijay Dandekar and Yukti Thareja as her lady love, the music video was directed by Sanam Teri Kasam fame director duo Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru

Dandekar was an undercover cop when he met the love of his life and became an encounter specialist after the incident is showcased in the song.

On the work front,  Emraan will be next seen horror film Dybbuk. He is also part of Salman Khan's Tiger 3. Recently, the Zeher actor revealed that he was infected with a deadly disease last month while he was in Vienna, Austria for the shoot of Tiger 3.
