Fans can't stop gushing over Tarak's menacing avatar in the movie and his fierce clash with Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan. Jr NTR is a Trained Indian Classical Dancer!

Jr NTR has earned a reputation as an electrifying star for his powerful performances and mass appeal. While South movie fans have witnessed his charismatic presence over the years, the world witnessed his dynamic aura with SS Rajamouli's RRR. Particularly, his electrifying performance with Rama Charan to the Oscar-winning song Naatu Naatu stunned the audience worldwide.

However, did you know that Jr NTR is trained in an Indian classical dance form?

Well, before emerging as the 'Man of Masses', Jr NTR was already a gifted dancer. He has a strong foundation in classical Indian dance. Tarak has mastered the intricate art of Kuchipudi, a traditional dance form from Andhra Pradesh.

Videos of his dance performances are available on YouTube, in which a young Tarak is seen performing Kuchipudi confidently. A teenager Jr NTR is seen executing complex steps with precision and emotion. 

Reportedly, Jr NTR performed Kuchipudi at different events in places like Guntur and Dallas. The clips available on YouTube were filmed during the 1990s.

How It All Began?

According to a report by News 18, Tarak's mother encouraged him to learn Kuchipudi and he started his training at a very young age. After recognising his natural talent and pushed him to formal training. Jr NTR, under the guidance of renowned Kuchipudi guru Sudhakar Durgam, devoted over 13 years to learning classical dance.

Surprisingly, he not only showcased his talent in India but also internationally, including in the United States and the United Kingdom.
