The teaser of Rajkumar Hirani's much-awaited movie 'Dunki' was unveiled on Thursday, on the birthday of Shah Rukh Khan. While all were aware of Taapsee Pannu playing the female lead in the movie, Vicky Kaushal's inclusion is the suprise element.
Treating fans to the best gift on Shah Rukh Khan's 58th Birthday, the makers of Dunki, aptly named the teaser as 'Drop 1,' offering a glimpse into the world of the character Hardy, played by Shah Rukh Khan.
Sharing the video, SRK wrote on X, "A story of simple and real people trying to fulfil their dreams and desires. Of friendship, love, and being together... Of being in a relationship called Home! What's All In Dunki Teaser
The teaser opens with visuals of Shah Rukh Khan and a group of individuals dressed in black, traversing a desert landscape while a mysterious figure takes shots at them.
The storyline centres around Shah Rukh Khan's character, Hardy, who is determined to relocate to London with his crew. Taapsee Pannu portrays Manu, and Vicky Kaushal plays Sukhi, both of whom are part of Hardy's team.
However, the appearance of Vicky Kaushal was undoubtedly the biggest surprise element in the teaser.
According to the teaser, the film's backdrop appears to be Punjab, where young individuals are aspiring to move to the UK.
Directed by Rajkumar Hirani and featuring a stellar cast that includes Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, and Boman Irani, "Dunki" marks the maiden collaboration between Shah Rukh Khan and Rajkumar Hirani.
