Superstar Shah Rukh Khan is gearing up for the release of 2023’s much-awaited movie ‘Dunki’. Directed by the very talented Rajkumar Hirani, the movie is expected to break all the existing records.
Being the first collaboration of Hirani and SRK, Dunki is slated to release this holiday season. Apart from SRK, the movie also stars Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal in pivotal roles. During a promotional event, King Khan shared an interesting incident about him and Vicky Kaushal.
The Badshah of Bollywood jokingly revealed that Vicky Kaushal regrets marrying his Jab Tak Hai Jaan actress Katrina Kaif and wants to marry him.
“Classrooms ke jo scenes hain… iske andar ek aisa scene hai jahan main nimbu brother ban chukka hoon Vicky Kaushal ka. Log blood brothers bante hain, main nimbu brother ban chukka hoon… Bahut prem ho chukka hai. Ek do baar toh usne mujhe phone kar ke bhi bola ki ‘Katrina se maine jaldi shaadi kar li…agar shaadi nahin ki hoti toh main apse kar leta! (There are classroom scenes, wherein there is a scene where I am like a brother of Vicky Kaushal. People become blood brothers, we were lemon brothers. We had a lot of love. He called me a couple of times to say, “I married Katrina Kaif but had I not, I would have married you for sure!).”
SRK also revealed the meaning of Dunki and said, “It means ‘apno se dur rehna’ and ‘ghar chodte hain isiliye ki ghar wapis aa sake.’
The movie will be released worldwide on December 21 and is expected to break the records of SRK’s previous movies Jawan and Pathaan.
