The recent announcement of Kiara Advani coming on board as the female lead for Don 3 and working opposite Ranveer Singh has received mixed reactions. While a section of moviegoers are not happy with the decision of Ranveer Singh in the titular character, fans of the actor have pinned high hopes on the actor.
However, did you know that Kiara was not the only choice for the role?
Yes, the pick was between Kiara and Kriti Sanon. Makers also were considering Kriti as the female lead in the flick. However, it was Ranveer who insisted on locking Kiara and not Kriti.
In its exclusive report, Bollywood Hungama quoted a close source as saying, "Farhan Akhtar had short-listed two girls for Don 3, and it was Ranveer Singh who was very keen to have Kiara Advani on board. The two share a very comfortable bond off-screen and Ranveer felt that the off-screen bond would transform beautifully on the screen. Farhan then went to Kiara Advani and pitched her character."

Further, the source added that Kiara charged premium pricing for Don 3. With this, she has charged the highest remuneration for this flick throughout her acting journey. And, the makers were more than happy to hand over the biggest paycheque to the actress.
The source added, "Kiara Advani has charged Rs. 13 crores to come on board Don 3. It's the biggest that she charged to date and the actress is all charged up to prep for the big-scale action scenes of Don 3. The amount that Kiara has fetched for Don 3 is almost 50 percent higher than what she is getting for another action film, War 2 with Hrithik Roshan and JR. NTR."
Well, Don 3 would certainly prove a turning point for Kiara's acting career. And Kiara's career would get a huge boost.
As per earlier reports, Don 3 is slated to go on floors in August with a big schedule and will hit the big screen in 2025.
