Don 3: Vikrant Massey as antagonist in Ranveer Singh and Kiara Advani-starrer!

Don 3 has remained the talk of the town since its announcement by Farhan Akhtar. While Ranveer Singh playing the lead role received mixed responses, Kiara Advani being roped in as the lady lead filled excitement among her fans. Now, the latest report brings another surprise for the audience. As per the latest reports, Vikrant Massey has been approached to play the antagonist.

Vikrant Massey, who gained fame with '12th Fail', is currently in the headlines for his upcoming 'The Sabarmati Report'. While the Haseen Dilruba actor is gearing up for the release of his upcoming movie, has been reportedly approached for Don 3 to play the villain.

As per a report by India Today, Vikrant has been offered the opportunity but he is yet to give a nod. Further, the report also states that Farhan is yet to comment on it.

Well, moviegoers need to wait for an official announcement from the makers to know whether Ranveer will lock horns with Vikrant.

Notably, Farhan not considering a trilogy with Shah Rukh Khan and casting Ranveer in Don 3 didn't go down well with many. During a podcast with YouTuber Raj Shamani, Farhan explained that the script of Don 3 demanded a next-generation actor. Later, he locked Ranveer as the lead. The Bhag Milkha Bhag actor also called the Gully Boy actor charming, mischievous and energetic, which probably is required for the role in Don 3.

A report by News 18 Showsha claims that currently Don 3 is in the pre-production stage. Meanwhile, the team is expected to begin preparations for the movie in March 2025 as both Ranveer and Farhan are busy with their respective projects.

Well, if the reports are anything to go by, taking up the role of antagonist in Don 3 and locking horns with Ranveer would be definitely challenging for the Mirzapur actor.
