Diljit Dosanjh joins Sunny Deol for Border 2; here’s what we know 

Diljit Dosanjh has been making waves with his charm, singing, acting, and charisma. The Punjabi singer-actor has become a popular choice for many after his performance in Imtiaz Ali's ‘Amar Singh Chamkila’. 

As per reports, Diljit is now set to join hands with Sunny Deol for ‘Border 2’.

Sunny Deol, after the success of ‘Gadar 2’, is preparing for the sequel to his other hit movie, ‘Border’. Reports now claim that Diljit Dosanjh will share the screen with Deol, portraying the role of a real-life soldier. More details about his character are still under wraps.

A source told PeepingMoon, “Diljit Dosanjh has joined Sunny Deol in ‘Border 2’. His character details are currently kept under wraps, but Dosanjh is enthusiastic about the opportunity to play a real army officer and will soon begin his preparation to fully inhabit the role.”

The report also revealed that Ayushmann Khurrana has also been approached to play an important role in the film, although he is still in negotiations and the final approval is yet to be finalised. Other cast members being approached include Ammy Virk and Suniel Shetty's son, Ahan Shetty, who made his debut in 2021 with ‘Tadap’. 

After multiple speculations, Sunny Deol announced ‘Border 2’ in June this year, coinciding with the 27th anniversary of ‘Border’. Announcing the sequel, he wrote in the caption, “Ek fauji apne 27 saal purane waade ko pura karne, aa raha hai phirse. India’s biggest war film, #Border2.”
