After the success of Anupamaa, Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein, Imilee, Star Plus has once again adapted a popular Bengali daily soap Anurager Chhowa for their new show ‘Dil Ko Tumse Pyaar Hua.’

The show, set against the vibrant backdrop of Rajasthan, stars Aditi Tripathi as Deepika and Akshit Sukhija as Chirag. This fresh addition to the Star Plus family promises to explore the compelling journey of two lovers who face numerous hurdles from society and their families.

The promo of the show introduces audiences to Deepika (Aditi Tripathi), Chirag (Akshit Sukhija), and Jhanvi (Urvashi Pardeshi). It highlights the struggle Deepika faces at home, where she is mistreated by her stepmother and stepsister. Chirag encounters Deepika at a blood donation camp and is impressed by her generosity and kindness. The plot thickens when Chirag's family proposes marriage for Jhanvi, but Chirag chooses Deepika over her sister, causing friction between the families.

Akshit Sukhija, who essays the role of Dr. Chirag, shared insights about the show and his on-screen chemistry with Aditi Tripathi. "Dil Ko Tumse Pyaar Hua" will depict the tale of two individuals, Deepika and Chirag, who come from different backgrounds but share similar perspectives on life. It will be fascinating to see how their love story unfolds. The show offers a rich tapestry of emotions, cast, and screenplay," said Sukhija to India Forums. He expressed his enjoyment in portraying the character of Chirag, who is deeply dedicated to his work.

Aditi Tripathi, making her debut on Star Plus with "Dil Ko Tumse Pyaar Hua," expressed her excitement and gratitude in a interview to India Forums. "I am portraying Deepika, a character who has faced numerous obstacles but still cares for those who have wronged her. Deepika is a kind-hearted individual who believes in standing up for herself and keeping her viewpoint. Like me, Deepika is a Shri Krishna Bakht, and I feel blessed to portray her. I believe that kindness and faith help one navigate through life's struggles," said Tripathi.

"Dil Ko Tumse Pyaar Hua" is set to air on Star Plus at 7 pm from July 15 onwards.
