Car or bus? Different treatment meted out to B-town stars at Anant-Radhika's pre-wedding festivities grab eyeballs

Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding festivities headlined the Indian newspapers for almost a week. Apart from the fact that the festivities were arranged by Ambanis, who celebrated the Indian billionaire family, the highlight was the attendance of international and national celebrities.

From all the 3 Khans and other famous singers and actors from Bollywood to international celebrities like Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, and Rihanna participated in this 3-day long festivities. It was a humungous task to attend to these celebrities and ensure that they are provided with the best of the transport and living facilities and also that their security is not compromised in any way.

Khans were picked up in cars

Luxury buses and cars were stationed at the Jamnagar airport to pick up the stars and celebrities. All three Khans including Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Aamir Khan, and family were picked up by luxurious cars like Rolls Royce. Even Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt received A-listed star treatment as they were picked up in a luxury car. The wife of YRF head Aditya Chopra-Rani Mukerji also was picked up by a car.

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh also had a car waiting for them. Because DeepVeer has just announced pregnancy it was quite crazy the way people mobbed around them as they headed towards their car. Likewise, MS Dhoni and wife Sakshi were also picked up by a car. And of course, international celebrities like Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg had a luxury car waiting for them at the airport.

Even the Bachchans had cars waiting for the entire family. On the other hand, Aditya Roy Kapur and Ananya Panday were picked up by a luxury bus. Kareena, Saif Ali Khan, and their family were also picked up by a luxury bus. Varun Dhawan and David Dhawan were also picked up by a bus. Sonam, Rhea, and Anil Kapoor took the bus along with Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani.

The difference in the way the A-listed Bollywood celebs were picked up from the airport may have something to do more with the timing of the flights or the availability of the vehicles when the celebs arrived. However, one thing is sure Ambanis did make sure that everyone is well looked after and taken care of.
