Daringbadi boy makes waves in Bollywood, shines in Shraddha Kapoor’s ‘Stree 2’
Dreams don’t cost a penny. However, turning them true is a challenge that only a very few people dare to take. Kandhamal boy Varun Bisoyi from the tribal-dominated Daringbadi, the Kashmir of Odisha, is a glaring example of dreaming big in life.
Despite coming from a very poor family, Varun has paved his way into Bollywood. His journey from a small-town boy to the dream city of Mumbai is an inspiration for all. Having transitioned from a tailor in his village to a canteen worker in Mumbai, Varun’s determination and hard work led him to collaborate with renowned directors and actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar, Sunny Deol, Nana Patekar, Ranveer Singh and more.
He recently played a significant role in the success of the blockbuster ‘Stree 2’ starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao. He worked as a foley artist in the blockbuster that has broken all the records at the box office. As a foley artist, his role involved recreating sounds in post-production to enhance the audio quality of films.
He was also part of Sunny Deol’s ‘Gadar 2’ and Babushaan’s ‘Daman’. This apart, he has contributed his expertise to over 150 films including Bajirao Mastani, PK, 3 Idiots, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Don 2, Uri, Robot, Andhadhun, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, Rustom and Padmavat.
His journey from Odisha roots to his accomplished career in Bollywood stands as a testament to his determination and talent.
