  • Which Indian superstar can do justice to this iconic spy character of James Bond?

No Time to Die- Daniel Craig’s last outing as James Bond was released in India on Thursday and since then, critics, movie buffs and the media are busy discussing, reviewing and exploring everything about the movie. And naturally so, as this is the last film of the Hollywood superstar as James Bond who kicked off his journey as the impeccable, ingenious spy in 2006 with the blockbuster Casino Royale.

In the span of almost 15 years, Daniel has played James Bond 007 in 5 movies. Now that he has decided to stop his journey as the iconic Bond, it will be interesting to see who will step into his shoes and play the Ian Fleming’s popular fictional character to perfection next.

Undoubtedly, Hollywood has its treasure of hot hunks who can do justice to the role of James Bond. Nevertheless, in the last decade, India has emerged as one of the biggest markets for Hollywood movies and more Indian actors are now working in Western projects. So, what if the makers decide to pick up a reigning Indian superstar as their next James Bond?

Hrithik Roshan is the first choice as his Greek God looks and droolworthy physique is enough to impress the audience anytime. But more than that, the Krrish star has some impressive track record of delivering massive hits in the action Joyner. Be it Bang Bang, War or Dhoom 2, Hrithik knows how to pull off any scene that is laced with thrill, action and suspense.

When it comes to action, who can forget Bollywood’s Khiladi Kumar? Akshay as James Bond will be superb. Apart from the action part (in which he is super exclusive), the superstar has the suaveness’ and sophistication that can win all the hearts. The only downside here is that Akshay Kumar is aging and the makers might be looking for a bit younger actor who can portray James Bond at least for 2 to 3 movies in succession.

Tiger Shroff is young, dashing and known for his action-oriented movies. Be it the Baaghi series, Heropanti or his stint in War movie, Tiger has impressed the audience with his spectacular stunts and dancing. If he could simply do a brush up on his acting and dialogue delivery, Tiger Shroff can also be in the reckoning of being chosen as the next James Bond.

Apart from Bollywood actors, Southern superstars like Prabhas and Yash who have pan India following can also do justice to the role of James Bond. Prabhas has shown through Baahubali and Saaho that he can be overwhelmingly impressive doing stunts on the screen while Yash as Rockybhai in KGF has changed the definition of rowdiness and action on the big screen.
