Actor Jacqueline Fernandez has been in news for her alleged links with conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar who is accused in a Rs 200 crore extortion case, among others.
As per the Enforcement Directorate (ED), Jacqueline has alleged links with the multimillionaire conman who reportedly transferred 'proceeds of crime' to Jacqueline and her siblings.
Some pictures of Jacqueline with the conman are also making rounds on social media platforms. So, the ongoing drama related to the duo has reportedly attracted film makers.
Speculations are rife that some OTT platforms, keen on real-life events, are already planning and have pitched to make a series based on the controversy.
According to IndiaToday, an OTT producer, on request of anonymity, said that 'there is huge interest in the Sukesh vs Jacqueline story and there is a plan to make a fictional account of it'.
"...there is already a beeline of producers discussing how to turn this into either a movie or a web show. A few names are also being discussed on who might play Sukesh and Jacqueline in the project...," India Today quoted an insider as saying.
The ED had earlier filed a charge sheet under PMLA naming few Bollywood actresses as witnesses including Jacqueline Fernandez. The court had taken cognisance of the charge sheet soon after it was filed and had asked the agency to supply the copy to all the accused.
