Competition stiffens for Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2: After Singham Again, Vijay, Rajinikanth's next may release on Aug 15

Allu Arjun’s Pushpa: The Rule is all set to release on August 15, 2024. The movie which also features Rashmika Mandanna and Sanjay Dutt in important roles is one of the most awaited flicks of this year. Naturally, the anticipation for the same is very high. Importantly, Bunny has already said that they are also thinking of Pushpa 3 which has further escalated the excitement for Pushpa 2 as fans want to know exactly how Sukumar will end the sequel and leave a cue for the third one in the end.

Although there is no doubt that fans are eager to watch Pushpa: The Rise and still have the swag of Pushpa very much fresh in their minds, the movie is all set to face tough competition from both Bollywood and Southern film industry.

Rohit Shetty-directed Singham Again led by Ajay Devgn is scheduled to release on August 15. The Singham actor will be seen once again in the role of Bajirao Singham which is a very famous character. Also Deepika Padukone, and Kareena Kapoor Khan are playing important role in this film followed by cameos by Ranveer Singh and Akshay Kumar. Thus, the hype for this film is already top notch.

Similarly, Southern superstar Thalapathy Vijay is also gearing up to release his next film titled The Greatest Of All Time on August 15, 2024. Although the superstar is yet to confirm the same, there is a strong buzz that Vijay is targeting the Independence Day slot. Now there are strong reports that Rajinikanth’s next Vettaiyan may also be released on the same day as Pushpa 2, Singham Again, and The Greatest of All Time making the competition tougher for Allu Arjun’s sequel.

If all these reports are true then Bunny’s film will face stiff competition in the Tamil market and from Bollywood. However, it has a high chance of doing very well in Tollywood.
