Comedian Raju Srivastava suffers heart attack, admitted to AIIMS

Comedian Raju Srivastava was rushed to AIIMS in Delhi after the comedian reportedly suffered heart attack last night. He fell unconscious while working out on a treadmill at a gym in South Delhi.

The 58-year-old Raju was immediately rushed to the AIIMS where he is undergoing treatment. Reportedly, he suffered a mild attack and is currently responding well to the treatment.

Srivastava has been a part of television shows like The Great Indian Laughter Challenge and Dekh Bhai Dekh. He has also worked in movies like Bombay to Goa and the super hit Bollywood film, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha.

Hours before the news of Raju suffering a heart attack was aired, the comedian had shared a piece of his stand-up comedy on Instagram.

In the video, he mimicked some of the Bollywood biggies and showed how they would have shared information on Covid-19 via caller tune over phones.
