CID 2: ACP Pradyuman's re-entry spells the end of ACP Ayushmaan! Parth Samthaan confirms

CID 2, the new season of the popular TV show CID, was utterly disappointing for many. Furthermore, ACP Pradyuman's death scene left many heartbroken. Meanwhile, Parth Samthaan's entry into the show as ACP Ayushmaan gained significant attention. Though his entry brought fresh energy to the show, the disappointment of Shivaji Satam aka ACP Pradyuman's exit was loud and clear. The makers finally brought back the soul of CID, leaving the fans overjoyed. Well, now that ACP Pradyuman is back, ACP Ayushmaan is readying for exit. Parth Samthaan himself confirmed that he will be exiting.

Parth Samthaan CONFIRMS His Exit From CID 2

Recently, Parth Samthaan confirmed that his role was a guest appearance initially and it got extended for a couple of months. And now, after Shivaji Satam's re-entry as ACP Pradyuman, he will be exiting the show.

The latest development comes only a month after he joined the show. Further, Parth also revealed that he has other work commitments lined up, which is why he will not be continuing for long.

During an interview with Pinkvilla, Parth said, It’s been an absolute pleasure to be a part of a cult show like CID, even if it’s just for a brief period. I was on board for a few episodes only, a guest appearance, but later got extended for a couple of months."

Further, he added, "Initially, we couldn’t give any confirmation on the same as it would have spoiled the excitement of the show. And now with Shivaji Sir’s return, that thrilling twist about the mole will be unfolded very soon."
