As megastar Chiranjeevi's fans gear up to celebrate his 66th birthday on Sunday, the team of his upcoming film has announced the name of his next movie tentatively titled 'Chiru153'.

As per sources, the Telugu film will be called 'Godfather'. It is the remake of the 2019 Malayalam action movie 'Lucifer', which was directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran and starred Mohanlal, Vivek Oberoi among others.

The makers of the film released the motion poster of the movie at 6 pm on August 21 which shows the 'Acharya' actor in an intense never-seen-before look. 

 

In the poster, you can see the silhouette of a man dressed in formals and a hat. Directed by the award-winning Mohan Raja, who's better known for his Tamil films, 'Godfather' is touted to be a political action entertainer. It went into production recently.

Details of the film are still under wraps. Raja has also written the screenplay. Its music is being composed by Thaman.

 

On Saturday, director KS Ravindra (Bobby) also took to Twitter to announce their next film together. Ravindra who is a die hard fan of the Megastar, has said that he will share a mega update on the actor's 66th birthday tomorrow.

Titled Chiru 154, Bobby unveiled a poster with the promise of a mega update on Chiranjeevi’s birthday at 4.05 pm.

Unveiling the poster of the movie, Bobby “MEGA WAVE Hits the shore tomorrow at 4:05 PM A Mega gift from our side on the occasion of Megastar @KChiruTweets garu birthday @ThisIsDSP @MythriOfficial #MEGA154 #Chiru154 (sic).”

 

According to reports, the film will go on floors during Dussehra (October 15).
