A day after BTS stars V and Namjoon enlisted for their military service on Dec 11, another member of the boy band, Jungkook bid an emotional goodbye to his fans as he will be commencing his mandatory military enlistment from today.

Jungkook came live in Weverse Live and shared the news regarding his enlistment.

In the clip, fans claimed that Jungkook looked emotional and his eyes were red as some said that he was holding back his tears.

He was dressed in a grey t-shirt and a cap during the livestream.

“I guess it will be my last live before enlisting for military. I just sent off following the enlistment of V hyung and Namjoon hyung. Then I had my food and did some cleaning, that’s why I ended up being a little late, sorry," he said during the live stream. (SIC)

Before going offline, he had a message for his fans as he said, “Goodbye! Stay safe and I love you… oh, it’s not the last live ever. I’ll come back stronger than before. Bye." (SIC)

The video of Jungkook’s last stream was shared on the X (formerly Twitter) handle of user @golden_makena. The BTS fans have also expressed their emotional goodbyes in the comment section as one user wrote, “It’s tough to see you go,’ and another user commented, “See you soon rock star.” (SIC)

It is to be noted that all the male citizens of South Korea are compulsorily required to serve in the military between the age 18 to 35 and this process has been existing in the country since 1857.
